With the release of Chrome 88 and Edge 88, there is a change that prevents video stimuli from being recorded to the meeting room when hardware acceleration is enabled. The person who plays the video needs to disable hardware acceleration, or use an older version of the browser until our video provider resolves the issue.

How to Disable Hardware Acceleration in Chrome 8

STEP 1 - For Windows users - click on the 3 dot menu in the upper right corner and select Settings

For Mac users - Go to Chrome in the top bar and click on Preferences

STEP 2 - In the left navigation, go to Advanced and then click on System

STEP 3 - Disable the toggle for hardware acceleration. Chrome will then prompt you to relaunch your browser so that your settings can take effect. You are now ready to join the meeting room.
